CC3220MOD: CC3220MOD analog pin protection

Part Number: CC3220MOD

Hi,

I'm using CC3220MODSF12MOBR module for on of our product where client requires 3 ADC lines for getting/sensing data from some sensors.

1. CC3220MOD module has total 4 ADC and The ADC inputs are tolerant up to 1.8 V.

So, here I need to restrict any external signal with voltage to 1.8V going into the ADC pin.

How to control If external deive outputs 3.3V sensor output signal. Account to my knowledge the ADC section will be damaged if the Input ADC signal voltage goes higher than its operating voltage.

Hence please suggest what is the best way to regulate ADC voltage.

2. Another part is : In the launchpad schematic circuit ADC buffer circuit is being used I think to increase the strength. any-other use case of this circuit(Attached is the ADC circuit  from TI)

Kindly help on this
