Hi Dimas,

I believe my colleague has already replied to you on some of your other threads for the same issue. What exactly is the issue? In order to run calibrator commands, you need to have a Linux image running on the AM335. Then you can sue the calibrator commands to run the radio in test mode. Do you have the image loaded? Can you boot up the AM335 and run calibrator? Once you get this running then calibrator will work.

1. My SDK has loaded to my EVM is am335x-evm-linux-05.02.00.10
2. Linux operating system 
3. WL1835MODCOM8B
4. TI Module vendor
5. Wilink firmware version
   1. 1. FRev: 8.9.0.0.76
      2. FRev: 8.2.0.0.240
6. Any applicable logs including Wireshark sniffer logs, WLAN firmware (gLogger), BT firmware (logger), kernel logs, wlconf dump, supplicant logs (i don't know about this one)

• You need to have a Linux image running on the AM335
  • Confirmed, i has been loaded am335x-evm-linux-05.02.00.10 on my AM335-EVM
• Then you can sue the calibrator commands to run the radio in test mode
  • Always showing "operation not supported (-95)" went i tried to give any command such as "calibrator wlan0 plt power_mode on", "calibrator wlan0 wl18xx_plt tune_channel 7 0 1", "calibrator wlan0 wl18xx_plt set_tx_power 20000 0 0 7 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0" ,  "calibrator wlan0 wl18xx_plt start_tx 500 3 500 0 0 1 0 0 00:11:22:33:44:55 01:02:03:04:05:06 0"
• Do you have the image loaded? 
  • How to check for this one?
• Can you boot up the AM335?
  • Yes, i can boot up and go inside "root@am335x-evm:~#"
• Can you running calibrator?
  • Cannot with "operation not supported (-95)"

As explained in e2e.ti.com/.../759673 , you need to ensure "NL80211_TESTMODE" is defined in your kernel configuration . can you confirm if it is defined ?

As my previous question on e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/other-wireless/f/667/t/759673 . "How to recompile kernel and kernel modules on my EVM?" Because it seems "NL80211_TESTMODE" is not defined in my kernel.

Ok, i will try for your suggestion above.

Did you know about name of 2 modules below? And if you know, please tell me what the different between that part with AM335x Evaluation Mode? And which one better and easier for RF Testing purpose?

Main difference b/w the two is that WL1837MOD based COM8 supports 5GHz along with 2.4 GHz band. WL1835MOD supports only 2.4 GHz band. Pls refer to the links above for more details .
