CC3220MODA: replacing cable 1mbit , latency question

Part Number: CC3220MODA

Hi everybody ,

I would like to replace a serial connection via cable with a radio link .

I just need half duplex communication  and  distance to cover is max 3-5 meters .

the throughput is  1mbit/S  ( so 100 bits every 100uS )   , what I need  is the 100bit must be received on the other side before a new frame comes in  : i must guarantee  100bits  every 100uS max .  this is mandatory

do you think this is feasible ?

should I use std wifi or I must go for some RAW data ?

will using 5GHz ( a different module )   make life easier ?

any input is welcome

regards

Carlo
