Is P55 default rx pin on CC3200 or should we enable it by software code? If we have to enable it by software code, can you please attach a sample example? I have to send serial data from tx pin of em18 rfid module

to rx pin(i.e,p55) of cc3200 and print it on serial monitor.

Question related to Energia you should ask at Energia forum.

To be able use pin 55 as UART0_TX, you need to set pinmux to PIN_MODE_3. This is demonstrated in SDK example uart_demo.
In Energia you need to initialize serial interface. This is demonstrated at many Energia examples like a ReadASCIIString.

SDK example is written for CCS ? Can we able to use it in energia?

Hi,

No. Examples in SDK are only for CCS or IAR. But Energia installation directory contains many useful examples.

As I pointed out at original thread, did you check the voltage output from your card reader is compatible with CC3200? CC3200 digital inputs are not TTL tolerant. That means connecting TTL device to CC3200 digital input may to damage CC3200 chip permanently.

EM 18 tx pin gives ttl output and in the specifications they asked me to ensure the microcontroller rx pin is 5V. According to what you said, I cannot interface em18 and cc3200. Is it correct?

Hi,

You cannot connect TTL UART to CC3200 digital pins directly. You need to use voltage level shifter like a learn.sparkfun.com/.../bi-directional-logic-level-converter-hookup-guide or any similar.

I don't know what type of board with EM-18 did you use. But according datasheet for EM-18 it looks that have TTL output. It is your responsibility to check hardware compatibility according datasheets.
