CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: Firmware doesnt run after loading via Uniflash.

Hi Everyone!

I built a project from example via IAR Workbench, tested it via debugger;

In Uniflash I created project for Developer-mode CC3220SF chip, added .bin file to "MCU Img" from IAR-project folder and SDK .bin, successfully connected to the target and then successfully created and downloaded the image.

The firmware doesnt run after that, all kinds of reset dont handle that.

Restoring Factory default image didn't solve it.

I guess I am doing something wrong, could anyone help me?

Hi Boris,

Have you run through the Uniflash imagecreator basics SimpleLink Academy module to ensure that you have the correct settings on your launchpad as well as your Uniflash project?

Some things in particular to check:

Ensure that the launchpad has SOP jumpers set to 010
Double-checking your project and ensuring that you're programming a project configured for the CC3220SF (and not the S) onto your CC3220SF. The compiler memory map settings and the uniflash project configuration must match your device

Hello Michael,

Thanks for your reply.

I guess everything you have written about is ok at my project, now the issue is I have added all needed certificates and have "Signature file name is empty error", attaching screenshots

Hi Boris,

Are you making sure to use the playground trusted root certificate catalog files? Also, have you tried adding your MCU image using the 'simple' view? If you add your MCU image using the simple view then it should automatically sign the file with the playground certificate + key and set the device to use the playground cert store. Let me know if that doesn't work.
