Hi,

Production programming can be done via UART using Uniflash software. For development is intended usage of JTAG/SWD for IDE connection (Code Composer Studio, IAR).

Hello!

I have doubts, and the XDS works on my board. How to make sure the programmer is working.

When connecting, a message appears " timeout reading data".

I did a reset to factory settings - it did not help.

Hi,

Sorry, I don't understand your question. Do you want to say that you are not able connect by Uniflash software? Please make sure that you have properly set SOP lines. Do you use own hardware or do you use CC3220SF LaunchPad? Please share high-res photo of your connection and jumper configuration.

Hi Jesu !

In order to program the chip through Uart, as I understood, it is enough to use Tx, Rx and Reset. I made my board on ss3220sf to check if xds110 works on the lunchpad board, but when i connected via launchpad to my board the same error. Perhaps i need to change something? I made a board according to the scheme that I sent.

Hi,

And what about GND. Do you have connected it?

In case you have new board which was not tested yet, it may to be possible that you have a manufacturing or design issue. Maybe you should check DC-DC voltages at for CC3220SF chip and compare with LaunchPad (VSS_ANA = ~1.8V, VDD_DIG = 1.2V). Also you can share schematic and layout of your board.

BTW ... do you use at least four layer board?
