CC3220MOD: Looking for power reports

Part Number: CC3220MOD

Dear TI-Team,

There are a few posts here referring to document SWRA502A , but I can‘t find it on the product documents page and alle Google links lead to 404 errors.

I‘m looking for the average current as WiFi Direct GO mode in different setups (intervals, etc). Primarily the device will only „advertise“ (I‘m more the BLE guy) because we want to add a secondary connection mode for maintenance purposes to our BLE application

  • Hi Chris,

The document you are looking for, the Networking Subsystem Power Management report, has been updated to revision C which is why the link you were using is broken. The most up-to-date version of the document can be found here:

    http://www.ti.com/lit/swra502

While the report does not cover Wi-Fi direct use cases explicitly, the STA uses cases described and measured will be applicable to the Wi-Fi direct case if the CC3220 is acting as a Wi-Fi direct client. See section 4.5 of the NWP programmer's guide for more details on Wi-Fi direct modes.

Let me know if you need more clarification or have further questions on this topic.

    Regards,

    Michael
