Hi Champs,

We would like to know following question.

If you know 1) question, please prior to answer 1) first.

1)Could you please tell us how to  adjust ACK time out parameter ?

2)Do you have measure ACK notification distance from Master to slave ?

    1) Ack timeout cannot be configured.

    2) The timeout takes into account the air propagation time

    -According to 1) your answer, time out is not able to configure. How do we have to consider air propagation time ?

    In addition to this , 

    Actually, we would like to extend  wifi  notification distance other than Timeout setting.

    Do you have any other parameter ?

    How long can we extend this maximum notification distance ?  Do you have any idea to extend this distance to 5km  ?

    Hi,

    I meant that the timeout is not  configurable by an external user.

    The WL18xx MAC firmware is responsible to update the values according to the modulation (SIFS length, preamble length of received packet,etc), air propagation, etc. 

    The propagation time estimation considers normal wifi operation (in the range of hundreds of feet).
