RTOS/CC3200: Mqtt error in cc3200

Hi,

I am using Mqtt in CC3200, After a long time using, Mqtt disconnected Automatically with error shown below

C: Net 83, no RX MSG in reasonable time
C: RX closing Net 83 [-1]
C: Cleaning session for net 83
C: Net 83 now closed

What will be the reason for disconnection? Is it a broker side issue or client side.

Hi,

Seems like the connection was idle for long time and the client didn't get the PINGRSP from the broker (response for PINGREQ issued by the client).

If the issue is persistent, it will require further debug.

The best way would be to sniff the air (with 802.11 sniffer) or to get logs from the broker.

You can also try to capture NWP logs (see instructions in http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC3120_%26_CC3220_Capture_NWP_Logs) so we'll have more debug info.
