CC3235S: Can Flash SPI port be used for other external SPI devices?

Hi Folks,

Asking on behalf of a customer:

CC3235 has 1 spi master dedicated for flash and 1 spi available as part of the normal GPIO pin mux. Could I double up the flash master spi to interface with an external device/processor if I wanted to use the GPIO spi for something else?

Hi Wolfgang,

This use case is not supported. Technically it may to be possible only when network subsystem/coprocessor (NWP) is disabled. It will be also necessary to use manual control of CS by GPIO pin. But usage of CC32xx device with deactivated WiFi subsystem not make much sense.
