CC3220SF: Device road-map

Part Number: CC3220SF
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3135, CC3120

Regarding the MCU device itself, the current CC3220SF per the its datasheet has an M4 core @ 80 MHz, 1MB of Flash and 256KB of RAM.

Is there a TI road-map for future device family versions with a faster ARM core and more memory, etc....??  If so, product release quarter/year info would be great to get along with the high level ARM core & memory features.  My company is considering a design with the current device, but we would like to see/know if there are to be future family products with more performance & more memory.

Regards,

Kirk

  • Hi Kirk,

TI does not disclosure/comment not released product at public forum. If you need such kind of information, please contact your TI representative/FAE directly.

  • Hi Kirk,

While I cannot comment on our road map I could suggest our CC3120 or CC3135 devices+ an application MCU of your choice that meets your performance and memory requirements. The main difference between CC31XX and CC32XX is the CC32XX has an application processor + network processor whereas the former is just network processor.
