Hi,
Peter,
The antenna shown in the picture is the M830520. Yes, the antenna symbol shown in the schematic has 2 pins, but it has 6 pins. Refer to the M830520 datasheet, and you'll note that one pin is the feedpoint, one is GND, and the other four are dummy pads, hence the 2 pin symbol.
For layout guidelines, you can refer to the antenna datasheet as well as our reference design. The reference design is that of the board that was used to test and pass certification.

Hi Seong,
The antenna in the layout cut-out on p.51 in the cc3135mod data sheet is NOT the 830520 antenna. It has only two pads and the layout is far from the 830520 data sheet. It looks more like the Pulse antenna, but is also quite different compared with that data sheet. However, in the reference design kit you linked to, in the MCU064A_BOOSTXL_CC3135MOD_PCBLayout, there is the correct antenna shown, with its six package pins. So the picture in the cc3135mod data sheet is wrong.
Regards,
Peter
Peter,
Correct, the image on pg51 is to show an example of the RF placement and routing, and not intended to show the antenna. I will update this image to reflect what you see in the reference design. Thank you.
I will close this thread. Please start a new one for any other queries.
