LAUNCHXL-CC3235S: Trying to source the right parts mix for a creating a CC3235S based wireless sensor hub that pushes data to the cloud.

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC3235S
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3235S, HDC2010EVM, OPT3001EVM, LMP91200, ADS1120

We are in the process of prototyping a yard sensor that reads temperature, humidity, lux and pH and then relays the sensor data to the cloud through a home wireless network. We're building a prototype using all TI components and one using all open source raspberry PI or arduino components. We have found lots of documentation to guide us in sourcing parts and building open source versions but little on the Ti side, so we're writing this email to ask for verification of whether the below TI parts list is the best starting point for our TI build. We'd like to push the below sensor data through the microcontroller and a local wireless internet connection to a database on Microsoft Azure.

microcontroller = LaunchXL CC3235S w/ SimpleLink
temperature & humidity = HDC2010EVM
lux = OPT3001EVM
pH = ADS1120 and LMP91200

Our previous attempt at building a wireless sensor hub on a CC3235S that pushes data to the cloud through a home wifi network with mixed sensor types (TI and non TI) failed because too little sample code exist for the CC3235S with non TI sensors..but the cloud integration portion worked well.

Our subsequent attempt using the predecessor board CC3220 worked when it came to integrating mixed sensor types but then failed when it came to cloud integration.

We are now trying to repeat the exercise with all TI parts but don't want to waste a bunch of time and money if we're starting with the wrong list of TI components.
