CC3120MOD: Is it possible to limit the transmission rate linked by wireless LAN?

Expert 3040 points
Part Number: CC3120MOD

I understand that the transmission rate cannot be changed, but
Is there any way to limit the disconnection when connecting at a certain transmission rate or less?

DSSS 1Mbps
DSSS 2 Mbps
DSSS 5.5 Mbps
DSSS 11Mbps
OFDM 6Mbps
OFDM 9Mbps
OFDM 12Mbps
OFDM 18Mbps
OFDM 24Mbps
OFDM 36Mbps
OFDM 48Mbps
OFDM 54Mbps
MCS 0-7

The module recognizes that it supports the above transmission rates * 1, but
This is because even if you connect at 1Mbps or 2Mbps, it will not work properly.
(* 1: Regarding the support rate, the description was not found in the data sheet. Please tell us separately if there is any error above.)
  • Hi NY,

I'm not sure I understand exactly what your question is.

What do you mean by "limit the disconnection"? Are you looking for a confirmation that the rates listed are all supported by the device?

Are you also wondering if you could set a mask for the rates that the device would advertise as supported during the connection to try to limit what is used after association? If so, that feature is not supported.

    Best Regards,
