Hi TI,

Im thinking if CC3220S could support OpenVPN or not.

Try to check driver and security part, looks like TI did not support VPN no matter from software layer or driver layer, right?

If we want to have VPN feature on CC3220S, any suggestions? Thanks.

No, we do not have any software that supports VPN. Do you mean connecting the CC3220 to VPN after connecting to an AP?

Hi Sarah,

We would like CC3220S to support VPN. Scenario is CC3220S <---> AP <----> Cloud, we would like to create a vpn connection between device and cloud.

Hi,

If you need connection into cloud secure SSL/TLS connection is enough. You don't need really VPN.

Unfortunately, our client set up VPN service on cloud, so we do need the VPN support on TI part. Thanks.

Hi,

In this case CC3220 device is not right for you. I think is should be possible to implement VPN support at CC3220 devices but this will be up to you only. How much effort could implantation take depends on which features of VPN do you need.

Maybe it could be better to you select WiLlink device connected to processor like Sitara. This will allow to you use OS Linux at device with all available features.
