Hello,
We are using the wl1837 in our products for a manufacturing company, and had a question on adding vendor specific information to the beacon responses in AP mode.
We currently use the Linux wpa_supplicant DBUS interface to control the AP interface from our applications, and found vendor specific DBUS calls that add/delete vendor information.
Here is a reference to the wpa_supplicant DBUS Apis available:

this is the changelog with the new apis with vendor DBUS calls added.
We assume the 80211 stack in our Linux kernel would make the appropriate translations from DBUS to calls in the 80211 stack to add these to the wl1837 driver.
Would there be any known issues on the wl1837 driver or firmware to accept a vendor IE information addition from wpa_supplicant as described above?
Our current wl1837 driver and firmware versions are:
