CCS/CC3200: Unsuccessful configuring the SSID in AP mode.

Hi Ganesh,

Please use the Simplelink Starter Pro mobile application as your reference (see https://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC3200_Provisioning_AP).

The web page seems obsolete. We'll need to debug this issue but the application does work.

I'll update when i find anything about the html page problem.

Hi there,

I tried to use Simplelink Starter Pro mobile and i am using Iphon 7 plus. I followed the procedure as from the above link you have provided. But apps keeps telling me to connect the smartlink SSID from wifi setting in phone. When i tried that i can only use the webpage again from the phone.

But anyway i have to use webpage to configure the SSID and password. This is the project in the product. Is it the problem with the provisioning library.

Hi there,

              I read other forum and keep trying to make it work but i am a little bit unsuccessful.

a. Enable the SL_EXT_LIB_1

b. Compile the simplelink to NON_OS

c.  Link simplelink.a and provisioninglib.a

d. Log print

I really need help here. Once this provisioning is successful then i can try in TIRTOS.

You should connect to simplelink device from the iphone Settings menu, then use the Starter Pro app for the provisioning.

I'm not sure what is the issue on the compilation side. Are you using provisionig_ap example as is?

Yeas i am using provisioning_ap example. Can you provide your working provisioning_ap example, if you have. It is not working on my side.

Hi there,

              Finally i understood how it works. After configuring the SSID and password from the AP webpage. The device has to reset to connect to the router. Otherwise it won't connect to router. 

By  the way is there any call back function where the device knows that the SSID and password were configured from the AP webpage. So that device can reset itself rather than from the user.

               Finally i am able to figure out the above issue. I need to link the uart_if.c file. I don't know why.

I have another question. i enable the breakpoint in

Hi,

This handler is for user defined tokens only. If you read/set system token, this handler is not called and token is served by NWP internally.

btw ... your code with printf() and variables token_name and token_value cannot work properly. Because this values are not a null terminated strings. You need always read _len variable and terminate string by yourself if this needed.
