CC3220SF: Concurrent multi channel AP+STA mode support

I am looking for a chip capable of running concurrently in AP and STA mode on different channels. I was pointed to https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru470/swru470.pdf, but this doesn't seem to have any information about if this can be run on separate channels. Is this possible on this chip? If not, are there any chips that are capable of this?

Hi,

No. This feature is not supported at CC3220SF device. As to be honest, I don't know about any competitors SoC with such feature, if we not talk about SoC which are designed specifically for design of wireless routers.

Hi,

As Jan pointed out, the CC32xx devices do not support running in AP and STA at the same time.

However, the WL183x devices do support multi-role Wi-Fi. I suggest taking a look at the WL1837 product pages and documentation to familiarize yourself with those devices: https://www.ti.com/product/WL1837MOD

Thank you, the WL1837 looks like it could be a viable option. Is this available as a module with an integrated host?

No. Linux based host device like a Sitara processor for module control is expected.
