 I'm specifically considering the CC3100 and WL183x products, but am curious as to the roadmap for Wi-Fi aware across the TI product line:

Which, if any, of the TI Wi-Fi solutions will support Wi-Fi aware and have Wi-Fi Aware™ certification?    If Wi-Fi aware support is planned, in what time frame could we see silicon / software?

    Hi Steve,

    There is currently no support for Wi-Fi Aware in TI Wi-Fi devices. There is also currently no roadmap or plans to support this feature.

    Looking at the documentation on Wi-Fi Aware, it appears to be similar to Wi-Fi Direct, which is supported on the CC3xxx devices. I suggest you take a look at Wi-Fi direct and see if that might be suitable for your application instead of Wi-Fi Aware.
