I am facing problem in bringing wlan0 up second time on Linux PSDK 5.03. I have checked the GPIO pin wlan_en using oscilloscope, it doesn't go low when the wireless interface is brought down. I was suggested by TI experts to add pinmux entries in device tree file.

I was going through the am5728_gp_evm.pinmux using TI SYSTEM CONFIG software and I have some doubts. I have attached an image of a section from TI sysconfig software. The GPIO pins I am concerned about is GPIO5_8 (WL_EN) & GPIO5_4 (BT_EN).

What does the Rx column signify? It is checked in case of both the pins.

Hi,

Typically the GPIO associations for Linux is done through the device tree file (DTS/B). You can refer to one of the sample files from the device family that has the configurations set for WiLink. You can use this as a reference to modify the settings as per the HW.

I'd like to know what is the significance of the Rx column in the image I have attached.

Also, can you direct me to the link of the sample files you're talking about?

Hi,

I couldn't find the information related to the "RX" column. May be this is specific to Sitara team and you will have to raise a ticket in that forum. As per the DTB reference file concerned you can refer to https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/arch/arm/boot/dts/am335x-evm.dts.

Hi,

The link to dts file you've attached is for AM335x EVM. However, I am using AM5728 GP EVM.

Kindly send the dts file for AM5728 EVM.
