Recently I've been exploring routines for CC3220SF,Learn to program the external serial flash used by SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC32xx and CC31xx devices using UniFlash:

I noticed that my CC3220SF cannot connect to UniFlash (although UniFlash has recognized CC3220SF),whenever i tried connection the device using Uniflash it's going to load infinitely

Confirm that the SOP jumper is 010,When "Start Image Creator" is pressed, the interface of Uniflash does not change and is always under load.I tried several Linux PC, but failed to connect with Uniflash.

Later, I used Uniflash under Windows, and CC3220SF connected successfully!

1. I have downloaded Uniflash again and tried several versions, including the latest version, but failed to connect.

2. Other TI-Launchpad devices (such as CC2640R2F) can be recognized by USB and UNIFlash normally

3. what should I do ? Some Settings not configured properly?

Hi,

What Linux distribution and version are you using? UniFlash is tested with Ubuntu.

Do you have Python 2.7 installed? This is used to run the ImageCreator functionality.

Here is my ubuntu version 20.04 info:

Linux version 5.4.0-42-generic (buildd@lgw01-amd64-038) (gcc version 9.3.0 (Ubuntu 9.3.0-10ubuntu2)) #46-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 10 00:24:02 UTC 2020.

I have never used Python, although I am eager to learn now, so I may not be able to understand python advice and I don't see any python teaching in the

routine.

Is there any other way?

Hi,

The ImageCreator program uses Python, you do not need to do anything else with it. Do you have it installed on your machine?
