It's first time my customer use this MOD. please kindly help to guide how to get IEEE MAC address of this CC3100 MOD. thanks.

Hi,

MAC address you can get via sl_NetCfgGet() API.

_u8 macAddressVal[SL_MAC_ADDR_LEN];
_u8 macAddressLen = SL_MAC_ADDR_LEN;
sl_NetCfgGet(SL_MAC_ADDRESS_GET,NULL,&macAddressLen,(_u8 *)macAddressVal);

Jan,

Actully, my customer want to get the MAC address through a barcode or QR reader. is there something like that on this module?

Hi,

Sorry I am not able answer your question. There is a QR code on the module, but I think this is a internal TI LOT number only. Please wait for a confirmation from Wifi team.

Hi Yue Tang,

We do not print the MAC address on any devices. You would have to collect that information from the device.
