You should see some traffic on channel 1, 6, or 11 during the connection/discovery at least.

This delays are not tolerable in our application.

My simplelink is near Android tablet but I'm in industrial environment.

I think the limitation only applies to GO (i.e. only 2.4G channels are allowed when selecting the operational channel). I need to verify this.

Are you filtering for data only or open to 802.11 management also?

I meant to the sniffer. You said that you can see TCP packet which are data packet, but can you also see the 802.11 management packets (such 802.11 Probe Request/Response)?

Here a screen shot before establish connection. This is AcrilicWiFi software.

"Tablet Huawei" is my tablet, "RDGxxxx (mio dispositivo)" is my SimpleLink. I see channel 6,11

When connection has established I prefer to use WireShark ... here screenshot. In this case my SimpleLink send 1KByte to 36:46:EC:AA:94:B2 (Huawei tablet).

But WiFi data is encripted ? Because if I click on data content I'm not able to see my sent/received bytes

this is because GO force SimpleLink to work in 5GHz band ? or it is because GO use encription ?

shouldn't be related to any of these.

It might be that your application or the tablet is busy with something that blocks the connection.

Just to make sure i understand, you get the connection wifi-direct indication (SimplelinkWlanEventHandler with SL_WLAN_EVENT_P2P_CONNECT), then the socket connection (sl_Connect) completed successfully but when you send data (sl_Send) you see delays?

Yes ...

I start send 1kByte packets at maximum rate 13Mbps (TCP).

I measure mean rate and it's OK

But sometimes I observe 1..2 secs of blocking ... even 4 secs

can be related to some interference on the channel (see if you suddenly identifies lots of retransmission during the delayed period), or to delays due to other software activities (that are prioritized over the transmission) - either on the simplelink and/or the tablet.

Could be an antenna calibration issue ?
