CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: Custom SSID With Auto-Generated Suffix in Provisioning Mode

Part Number: CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Hi All,

Title says it all. With the default settings wherein the SSID of the AP is set to "mysimplelink" in uniflash, when the device goes into provisioning mode it shows up as "mysimplelink-<MACADDR>". I changed the SSID to a custom one and it no longer does this in provisioning mode and instead shows up to what I set it to in uniflash. Is there a way to get a "custom" prefix with the autogenerated suffix? I've attached a screen shot of where I changed it.

Thanks!
