Hi team,

Our customer is investigating Host Driver APIs during referring the following URL. Regarding slcb_SockEvtHdlr(), customer is considering that this event handler is called only when the transmission fails. Is that correct? And them is there any useful event handler to control data transmission/reception (TCP/UDP protocol) ?

Hi Miyazaki,

The socket event handler is not just for TX failures. There are several asynchronous event (SL_SOCKET_ASYNC_EVENT) that will notify other issues (e.g. connection failure).

We are using BSD like api (with sl_Send/sl_Recv/sl_SendTo/sl_RecvFrom/sl_Select API) that can be used to for data transmission and reception.

Sockets can be defined as blocking or non-blocking which will dictate the behavior of the API.
