Dear Sir,

We have used the above mentioned WiFi/BT module in the IoT gateway design. The gateway will go for Compliance/certification testing.

During compliance/certification testing, the test enginner need to control the Transmit Power, the Channel no. and also the modulation.

Can you pls. share the AT commands required.

If AT commands are not used, can you pls. let us know the method to control the above mentioned parameters.

Dear Sir,

We understood that the Calibration tool mentioned by you in the document is good for WLAN (WiFi) mode.

But is there similar tool for Bluetooth on my board with Linux OS (e.g Calibration tool)

How do we need to test for Blutooth (of WL1737 mod) in Test Mode during pre-compliance/certification testing. Is there any specific procedure, pls. share.

-How to control power and channel in case of blue tooth testing.

Dear Vince,

The WL1837 in integrated to the main board having imX6 processor. Bluetooth is connected to the iMX6 processor thru UART. The OS is Linux.

Functionally the BT module is working fine.

But we want to understand how to Put the BT module in continuous Tx /Rx mode, Change channel etc. during pre-compliance testing from my Linux OS.

I think we can't use the HCItester tool in this case. Can you pls. suggest any alternate way to control the BT module.

Also how to use the BT_UART_DBG pin incase we have use Windows for HCItester tool.

Do you mean that we should connect the UART pins of the BT module to a (UART to USB converter) and connect it to a Windows PC?

Pls. suggest.

Dear Venice,

We are using Linux system. Hence can't use HCI Testertool .

Is there a procedure and set of commands that can be used to configure the device (WL1837) from the host using Linux.

Different Power Levels, Channel and Frequency for Bluetooth.
How to change the mode ( BT or BLE).

Pls. let us know, as the units need to be sent to Test Lab for FCC/CE/RED tests.
