LAUNCHXL-CC3235SF: Reset CC3235SF MCU

Hi,

How do I reset the TI 3235SF MCU programmatically? It is required by the OTA process to reset the MCU once the update is downloaded.
I don't want to it to Hibernate. Instead, I want to restart the MCU.

Please let me know the API to restart the MCU.

Hi Subramanyan,

Maybe you don't want do full SoC reset using hibernation API, but you will need do it to be our code fuctional.

At first step you need to stop NWP with timeout (e.g. sl_Stop(200)) and after that you need to restart SoC using hibernation cycle.

Okay. Would MAP_PRCMHibernateEnter() be the function to call to restart SoC using hibernation cycle?

SoC restart using hibernation can look like:

MAP_PRCMHibernateIntervalSet(330);
MAP_PRCMHibernateWakeupSourceEnable(PRCM_HIB_SLOW_CLK_CTR);
MAP_PRCMHibernateEnter();
