CC3235MODS: ANT_SEL1 and ANT_SEL2 pins of CC3235MODx

Hi experts,

Please let me check the CC3235MODx datasheet "10.1.2 Antenna Selection (CC3235MODx only)".

Q: What are the ANT_SEL1 and ANT_SEL2 pins of CC3235MODx?
I checked "Section 7.3" of the datasheet, but I could not determine where the ANT_SEL1 and ANT_SEL2 pins are. In the TRM "Table 16-7. Pin Multiplexing", Pkg Pin Number 29 and Pkg Pin Number 30 are listed as ANT_SEL1 and ANT_SEL2 respectively. However, in the datasheet and HardwarDesignChecklist, they are GND.

My customer wants to implement two types of antennas at the same time, a chip antenna and an external antenna, and use them differently depending on the situation. I understand that using the LaunchPad structure, they can physically switch between them." I would appreciate it if you could give me some information on how to use "Antenna Selection".

    Hi O.H.,

    The CC3220 series had dedicated ANT_SEL1 and ANT_SEL2 pins, pins 29 and 30.

    For the CC323x series, these pins must be GNDed. Instead, you can use any of the GPIOs listed in Table 7-2's "BLE/2.4GHz radio coexistence" row for the antenna selection signals.

    Apologies for the confusion. A lot of the information from the CC3220 TRM was carried over to the CC323x TRM. This must be removed.

    I understood the description of ANT_SEL1 and ANT_SEL2.

    I have an additional question about Antenna Selection, but I'll create a separate thread since the title takes away from the content.
