LAUNCHXL-CC3235S: Integrate BME280 sesnor with CC3235S

Thanks for the reply. Yes Indeed I had gone through that, the specific example we are looking for is integrating Bosch BME280 with "CC3235S", we have the example and supporting 'SAIL' drivers for other products but we are in search for CC3235S. Can you please help us in getting it ?

Sorry, I don't understand. Was you able to use SDK plugin stated above? SAIL should work with CC3235S without any issue because CC3235 use same peripherals as CC3220 device (usage of BME280 is same at all CC3220/CC3235 devices).

No, I haven't tried yet that with CC3235S, I saw the example provided by TI for CC3220 in the resource explorer.

Will the example provided for CC3220 will align to CC3235S, Am I right? if not can you please give some more pointers on how to use SAIL for CC3235S?

Hi,

Part of SAIL is a example how to use BME280 with CC3220S or CC3220SF devices. You can create project for CC3235 and use SAIL by same way as you will see at example.

Im trying out for CC3235S in CCS Cloud IDE,

when importing 

/* Module Header */
#include <ti/sail/bme280/bme280.h>

I'm unable to do that, no module is being imported and throws module not found error. Can you please give us some pointers on working out the example for CC3235S? Also, I could see few headers files specific to CC3220S, is there something available for CC3235S similar to CC3220S?

EDIT: The CC3220S project works with the CC3235S.

No, I don't have the IDE installed. I'm working on the CCS cloud and the examples provided in it.

Do you want me to get the IDE installed in my machine and try out the sample?

Do you have any references/pointers to make CC3220S example working for CC3235S? If so please share or give me some pointers on how to proceed further.

I see two options here:

1. Install the CCS IDE and use the CC3220S BME example for the CC3235S which I already know works
2. I can move this thread over to the CCS team to see if they can help you get the SAIL plugin working on CCS cloud

Personally I prefer to have the IDE installed as it is easier to work with once everything is setup in my opinion.
