Hello,

We have cc2652 and simple link sdk 2.30 based ZED.

cc2538-cc2592emk and Z-stack 3.0.2 based ZR.

cc2538-cc2592emk and Z-stack 3.0.2 based ZNP.

ZNP is connected to Raspberry pi 3 b+ via USB interface.

there are 125+ ZED and 10 routers in a network.

So we have observed that after a particular duration (5-7 days) gateway does not receive data(report command) consistently(> 75 % data loss ) or completely(100% no data) from the routers and the ZED associated with routers.

But at the same time gateway receive the data from the ZED which associated directly to Gateway(coordinator-znp)

in this scenario when we reboot the gateway it starts behaving normally and receives data from all devices.

due to some restriction, we don't have sniffer log.

any clue for this situation.

Without sniffer log, it’s difficult to judge what happens. If reset coordinator can rescue the issue, I would suggest you to do reset coordinator every 24 or 48 hours.

resetting is temporary workaround but we need to figureout the root cause.

I suppose you have to do sniffer or connect Debugger with IAR to check where it sticks.

I have setup an another network with same codes to observe with sniffer.
will share sniffer log if issue is captured.

Hello Dhanraj,

How many neighbors and children are directly connected to the ZNP? Compare this against the default nwk_globals.h values to see if your association/routing table space is insufficient. It would be interesting to know through sniffer logs if ZR devices create new routes while the gateway is faulty, and therefore the gateway neighbors are cleaned upon restart of the device.

I have defined
#define MAX_NEIGHBOR_ENTRIES 10
In ZNP code
and there are total 11 routers in the network
whole network is setup in a circular area of 15-20 meter radius

I have defined

#define NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST 30

In ZNP code

And I checked Dbdeviceinfo.csv on the gateway which is showing znp is a parent to 33 child nodes (router+sensor).

Are you implying that the ZNP is allowing more entries than set by the maximum macro values for both neighbors and total devices? Please confirm with the sniffer and gateway logs.

I don't have sniffer log but believe me in Dbdeviceinfo.csv available on gateway i can see 33 devices associated to znp as shown in pic.

but this i have noticed when the issue occurred on znp i.e.

gateway stops receiving report command from ZED and router.
