CC1352R: Battery Charger and CC1352 battery monitoring

I am designing kind of a ZigBee button that would be powered by single coin cell. For battery level monitoring I want to use MCU internal temperature and battery monitor functions. But also I will be charging the battery by BQ21040.

When I check the maximum battery monitor range, it is 3.8V. Battery charging voltage is 4.2V.

What is the best and cheapest way to protect MCU while charging and using battery monitoring function?

Hi Mehmet,

Z-Stack already incorporates a low voltage detection for NV memory using the AON Battery Monitor Driverlib module. You should contact the Power Management Forum for solutions to keep the battery voltage below the recommended 3.8 V operating voltage of the CC1352R.
