Im using CC2530 with Zstack V1.2.2. Im able to use the multicast feature in switch side.

I wanted to know what is the max number of group limit. FYI i have enable the NVRAM setting in pre-processor option to store the group info . Im varying the group limit with the help of f8wConfig.cfg. Im able to add successfully till 35 but after 35 its not holding the group info in NVRAM. Im attaching the stack info for your reference.

Is there is any memory setting needed to be done for storing higher number of groups.

Hi Aniruddha,

Increasing APS_MAX_GROUPS too far will likely lead to insufficient NV flash memory allocation on a device which is already limited on memory space when using Z-Stack. Please refer to the following resources:

Hi Ryan,

Please let me know if there is any limit defined..I went through the resources above, didnt find the limit defined anywhere..BTW Im using Zstack V1.2.2.

There is no defined limit as it depends on Z-Stack version, device role, RAM/flash optimizations, etc.
