Hi,

CC2530 and CC2591 need back-off in output to comply with FCC on channel 26. (ref to TI AN086 by Espen and Michael)

We have now close to 21dBm output power, and with any normal specter shape this becomes a problem at 2480MHz, with restricted band@ 2483.5 MHz.

But you don't want to back off the over the entire frequency band, just the upper most channel.

Do anyone have some example code for such back-off.

I assume the modification must be done at low level. e.g. in macRadioSetChannel, but creating dependencies between channel and output power could stir things up..

Anyone got any experience regarding this challenge.
