CC2530: how many enddevice can be accessed

My customer has the questions as follow:

If Ztack of CC2530 is used for networking without a router, how many enddevice can be accessed?
If Ztack resources are optimized, how many enddevice can be accessed?

Hi Yuki,

With the CC2530 acting as the ZC node they will be restricted to about 40 connected end devices due to limited Flash and RAM availability. They should also be aware that Z-Stack 3.0.X for the CC253X has no planned releases and has not been updated since 2018. They can review the Known Issues and Fixes E2E post if they plan to continue with evaluation on this platform. I recommend that they consider a SimpleLink device like the CC2652R and use the SIMPLELINK-CC3X2-26X2-SDK (with regular quarterly updates) instead.

According to my experiences, I can define NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST to 20 in a simple router application.
