Zigbee subghz support has been “coming soon” for a very long time. Looking for stack/evm support/general directional guidance/etc. is there an update? Would prefer that route over Lora but needing to get started soon…

Hi S.L,
Release of the Zigbee Sub-GHz Specification is dependent on the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA), the original timeline was planned for the second half of 2021 but it has since been delayed for the first half of 2022. TI remains an active and invested promoter of this protocol and will provide the stack as soon as it is officially released. You can join the CSA as a member or contact a TI representative to stay informed on important dates.

Ryan
Thanks Ryan. Given the time it takes to develop and commercialize an end product, i'm less concerned with the official alliance blessing and more concerned with getting started on implementation. We are under several NDAs w/ TI, and you distribute a video showing a benchtop network. I believe that would be more than enough to get started. If we pay the $7K to join the alliance, would we then have access to this demo firmware?
Thanks,
Scott
Hey S.L,
I will send you a friend request, please accept it so that we can further discuss this over private messaging. Keep in mind that a CSA membership is required for Zigbee Sub-GHz product certification.

Ryan
