CC1352P: How to configure attribute reporting on CC1352P with Z-stack

Hi,

SDK: simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_5_20_00_52

Demo: zc_doorlockcontroller + zr_doorlock

In the demos, if the PINcode entered by the door lock controller is wrong, the door lock will report ZCL_STATUS_INVALID_VALUE to the controller indicates that the PIN code is incorrect.

Now I want to add a function on this basis: after reporting the ZCL_STATUS_INVALID_VALUE, report a prompt string, such as "PIN code starts from 1".

I am not familiar with the attribute reporting configuration and reporting implementation process. Is there any method to realize this function?

I suppose you can use zcl_SendReportCmdEx to send your custom attribute.

Hi Siemin,

Please refer to the Z-Stack User's Guide, Zigbee Fundamentals SimpleLink Academy Lab, and Z-Stack API for more resources. You can see in zclSampleDoorLock_DoorLockCB from zcl_sampledoorlock.c where the zclClosures_SendDoorLockStatusResponse with ZCL_STATUS_INVALID_VALUE is returned. The zclClosures_SendDoorLockStatusResponse is basically a wrapper for zcl_SendCommand and you can use the same for your message, or simply Zstackapi_AfDataReq for more raw data packet control. When atteribute reporting is discussed it typically refers to a specific attribute changing which should be reported to bound devices such as a light's status or temperature value.

Hi Ryan,

Attribute reporting reports only one valve in a specified data format for a specific attribute. We'd bettter to use zcl_SendCommand instead to send more and raw custom data.
