There is some synchronization mechanism for concurrently using SPI with OTA and other peripherals?

Basically yes. Since you must have different CS pin for different peripheral, you can implement resource mutex to lock resource before using it.

I confirm @YiKai Chen's answer. The flash memory is interfaced through SPI. You can have several SPIs devices working together.

Generally speaking, you could power down the SPI flash when not used (i.e. while not being written or read). This would save power consumption and avoid conflict.

Sorry if it is a dummy question, but I still have a question. Suppose i have OTA running in a task (using the external flash memory), and have another task dealing with another SPI device. Both tasks are sharing the same SPI peripheral. So, as YiKai Chen referred, it is necessary a mutex. My question is, there is some mutex in OTA firmware that i can use or I need to create my own. If I need to create one, wich place in OTA code is correctly to add the mutex?
