Hi,

I've bought a SonOff Dongle that has the CC2562P MCU on it and an UART-To-USB Silicon Labs Bridge.

Reading and Writing to it via PC-Usb using jSSc Java Library.

I wanted to know if there is any limitation regarding USB Buffer size.

By limitation I mean if there is any maximum number of bytes the dongle can send each time.

I'm asking this question because I've seen that packet over 64Bytes get cut and the remaining of it sent later on.

Any reference would be more than appreciated.

Hi Luca,

What is the size of your UART(2) RX/TX buffers, both when using read/write commands and the Ring Buffer(s) initialized by SysConfig? These will have an effect on the behavior you are describing. You can consider increasing them to avoid packet fragmentation.

After some testing and by also looking at the SysConfig, as you suggested, I arrived at the conclusion that the dongle send a maximum of 64 Bytes each time.

Out of curiosity: Where can I look at the UART(2) RX/TX Buffers's size?

These are parameters of the UART(2)_read/write APIs. Here is the TI Drivers Runtime APIs for reference.
