CC2652P: Zigbee SLA error

Part Number: CC2652P
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: Z-STACK

Hi team,

In the lab "Designing a Custom Zigbee 3.0-Certifiable Product Using SampleApp" of Zigbee SLA, it uses a picture to show the supported clusters for doorlock, while the picture is from 7.4.10 section from the ZHA spec which is Main Power Outlet, instead of the correct table in section 7.4.11.

Would you please double check this? Thanks.

Best regards,

Shuyang

  • Are you sure you refer to exact Zigbee Cluster Library v7 Specification (ZCL spec) - Zigbee Document number 07-5123-07?

  • No, it is ZIGBEE HOME AUTOMATION PUBLIC APPLICATION PROFILE (05-3520-29)

  • Hi Shuyang,

This SimpleLink Academy Lab refers to Zigbee Home Automation Public Application Profile v05-3520-29 as well, I'm not sure how there is an inconsistency in our documentation section observations.  Nevertheless it is a minor irregularity which at any rate concerns a deprecated Specification since it was written for Zigbee HA 1.2 whereas the SLA's Z-Stack uses Zigbee 3.0.  As YK's comment suggests, references to the ZCL 7 and Zigbee PRO 2017 (R22) documentation should stay consistently updated. The HA Public Application Profile is still referenced since it continues to provide accurate descriptions of the clusters required for HA device types, however you could just as easily refer to a sampleapp example.

    Regards,
