CC2530: Urgent: Oscillator Problem with 32.768KHz Clock

Part Number: CC2530

Hi,

I want to follow up on this discussion since I did not get my answres about using external clock souce for 32KHz osilator in previous thread.

Here are my questions:

1-If TI recommend using an external clock source for 32768Hz oscilator of CC2530 the same way it is explained in document SWRA409A for CC254X?. Here is the link: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra409a/swra409a.pdf?ts=1651109909216

2-If TI recommend it but in a different way, is there any document that explain how to do it for CC2530 (something similiar to SWRA409A)?

3-In the case of using an external clock source, are some register settings should be changed with respect to the case of using regular 32KHz crystal circuit as explained in datasheet and manual?

Thank you for your help and support.

  • Hi,

This is still being worked on the other thread. Unfortunately some colleagues are out in vacation and therefore it is taking a bit longer to get additional insights for this issue. We will continue the discussions there.

    Regards,
