Hi,

I'd like to build a zigbee end device that sends out incoming data via infrared.

What zigbee cluster should I choose?

I've seen a similar project that uses ZCL_CLUSTER_ID_GENERAL_MULTISTATE_VALUE_BASIC. This cluster is not available in syscfg / "optional clusters" (zed_sampleapp). Can I use it anyhow?

I suggest you to use zcl_generalapp example and use custom cluster/attributes to implement this.

thank you for bringing the zcl_generalapp to my attention. At least I succeeded in registering a MultistateValue.
