I followed the instructions for the client, I rebuilt the project and this warning appeared

What can I do about this?

Now I am trying to flash the ZR_LIGHT.hex and ZR_LIGHT_oad.bin but they are overlapping in addr 0x0. In which address do you suggest I should load the ZR_LIGHT_oad.bin?

I flashed the .hex file, read the memory map in uniflash and the .hex ended around 0x34EC0 so I flashed from there the .bin but it gave me this error:

[ERROR] Cortex_M4_0: File Loader: Memory write failed: Status 0x0103: Target flashloader failed to program flash. Low level function returned status 4 (Operation failed).

Also I can't flash from CCS. I have this error:

Cortex_M4_0: GEL Output: Memory Map Initialization Complete.

You should be loading the BIM hex file and *_oad binary image.  This is provided in the flashing-ota-client-sequence instructions.  Be sure to test the default out-of-box OTA Switch examples before attempting your own modifications.

Yes you are right, I missed the BIM project part.

Here is my current setup:

zc_ota_server and zr_light with ota implemented. Other than the guide I also added code from zr_sw_ota_client (all the #if defined (OTA_CLIENT_INTEGRATED) that were in the _data.c and samplesw.c files)

It shows up on OtaServer but when I do image notify the "image found" line disappears and reappears after 10 or so seconds.

I also tried with zr_sw_ota_client and it worked, so I tried to transfer to my code anything that had to do with ota that I didn't have (the code that I referenced above)

After some debugging I saw that when I press image notify it enters zclSampleLight_processAfIncomingMsgInd but it doesn't enter otaClient_ProcessImageNotify and otaClient_HdlIncoming. The result of zcl_registerPlugin in otaClient_Init is 0 = ZSuccess. 

Is the zstack_afIncomingMsgInd_t endPoint as expected?  Continue your debugging by following zcl_ProcessMessageMSG to find the result of afFindEndPointDesc/zclFindPlugin and where the code exits.  The idea is that it reaches pInPlugin->pfnIncomingHdlr successfully and enters the otaClient_HdlIncoming plugin you registered with zcl_registerPlugin.

I found what I did wrong. I had included ZCL_CLUSTER_ID_OTA in both zcl_general's and ota_client's zcl_registerPlugin.

Now it is stuck on a complete loop:

It goes to 100%, the node disappears, then reappears and is starts again

Also when it restarts the endpoint changes to 0xFF

You might need to setup sniffer to check what exactly happens over the air.

I don't have a third board to setup a sniffer

I suggest you to buy one since sniffer is an useful tool when developing Zigbee application 

When I press abort the second time it starts download and read the attributes, it shows that the new version is downloaded but it hasn't installed. I attached the log from OtaServer

Since it appears that the upgrade image is fully transferred, you can debug otaClient_UpgradeComplete to determine whether it is successful or not, followed by further investigating otaClient_loadExtImage operation.  Ultimately the metadata header should set the imgCpStat to NEED_COPY before resetting the device so that the BIM's checkImagesExtFlash function knows to copy the new image found on external flash into the internal flash.  You will need to ensure that the address is valid and that the CRC check passes before the download image can be executed by the BIM.

The error that I did was that in the post-build I raised the version but in the predefined symbols I didn't do it. So it stuck in a loop.

I made both server and client in my custom apps.
