CC2530: The smartRF04EB emulator cannot recognize the chip.

Hi team,

Here's the request from the customer:

Customer designs a PCB board with online schematic and the 32M crystal works well. The board works well with zigbee cc2530 module but not with the chip cc2530.

Whether the P2_1 and P2_2 serial ports are not configured as DD and DC ports？

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

    Hi Nick,

    Please have the customer review Chapter 3 of the CC253X User's Guide and Chapter 8.2 of the SMARTRF04EB User Manual.  GND, VDD, DC, DD, and Reset_N should all be connected.  The debugger will control the correct pins such that they do not need to be configured from the firmware for debug capabilities.  The customer should provide more insight into the connections made and specify which software program is attempting to be used, with screenshots of the error if possible.  They can also consider testing with a CC-DEBUGGER if they are able to obtain one.
