CC2652R7: CCS Project Explorer itemizes the files of my project but will not show my .* files. E.g. files starting with a dot.

By default the project explorer filters out files that start with .*

You can change this behaviour by clicking on the filter icon at the top of Project Explorer and then uncheck the ".* resources" filter that is enabled under pre-set filters.

Once you do that the .project... files will be visible.
