Hi, I tried to connect my board (LP CC2652R7) to new laptop where IAR is installed. It was asking for TI XDS firmware upgrade. Is it mandatory to upgrade?

When I connected LP CC2652R1 to the same laptop, same pop up appeared and I gave Yes for firmware upgrade, some thing went wrong and afterwards board is not detecting.

Is there any document or steps to do TI XDS firmware upgrade?

    Hi Krishna,

    Each resource (Uniflash, CCSTUDIO, Flash Programmer 2, IAR, etc.) can involve its own XDS110 firmware dependency.  You may choose not to upgrade, however it could prevent the software resource from loading firmware or debugging properly.  I'm not certain what happened to your CC26X2R1 LaunchPad, were you able to recover it using any of the listed tools?  Here are some further resources:
