OTA Server Device List.

Hi,

I would like to know if using the OtaServer Program I can OTA Upgrade any device given a .zigbee file?

Also, after flashing the dongle with the ZC_OTA Firmware I don't see any device in the device list tab, any way to connect a zigbee device to it? I have a Develco product to Upgrade. I see no PanID in my Device List Tab.

Hi Ayman,

Only TI devices are tested with the OtaServer application on a regular basis. It is unknown whether there are any particular configurations which the Develco product expects which may cause the upgrade to fail. You can refer to the OTA server README and OTA Section of the Z-Stack User's Guide. Please note that you will need to commission the network which will allow nodes to join before you will be able to view them inside the OtaServer PC tool.

How do i commission the network? Do i have to use OTAServer for this?

The ota_server example is intended to operate by pushing BTN-1 on a LaunchPad for commissioning. The ZC type would form the Zigbee network and open for joining, whereas a ZR is going to steer the device towards finding an existing network to join.
