CC2652R7: How much ROM memory is required by the matter stack?

Part Number: CC2652R7

I am totally new to using TI controllers and need some guidance here please. I am planning to use this for matter over thread. From the Lock-app example, the binary file (.bin) generated was ~650KB. The total memory on this controller is 704 KB.

Is this the binary file that gets flashed on the controller?
Am I safe to assume that now I have approx. 50 KB memory ramaining?
Is there any way to reduce the file size?

You can build the example and check its map file to get details abour RAM/Flash usage.

Yes, that number is in-line with last time I checked memory consumption (~550-650 kB depending on optimization settings).

One simple way to reduce the flash footprint is to disable more of the logging: https://github.com/TexasInstruments/matter/blob/252af8a531af8dcf890fa42e1e6299addc01afea/examples/lock-app/cc13x2x7_26x2x7/args.gni#L32

Otherwise, optimizations in the Matter stack would be needed.
