CC2652R: Optimize mesh formation

Hi Akhilesh,

The Zigbee routing layer is included in the pre-built Z-Stack source library and cannot be modified by users.  Furthermore, there are no definitions available to modify the routing behavior as described.  Keep in mind that Zigbee routing also has self-healing properties which allow it to send messages along a separate route if the primary option fails.

Hi,

Please could you help me understand what this means. Lets say I have a big mesh and I have to pair through multiple hops, in that case should I use higher setting (MIN_LQI_COST1 = 12) or lower setting(MIN_LQI_COST_6 = 1 ) ?

I usually use lower settings.

MIN_LQI_COST_1 is the best link, MIN_LQI_COST_7 is the worst link.  Therefore MIN_LQI_COST_1/2 are strict association requirements (strong link required) whereas MIN_LQI_COST_6/7 allow more relaxed parameters (weak links allowed).
