CC1352P7: Compatibility with the CC1352P1F3RGZ chipset

Hi,

I have designed a custom board (2.4GHz/20dBm HPA) with CC1352P1F3RGZ IC part. I found a different part CC1352P74T0RGZR having higher flash memory and decided to use it in the existing custom board.

Do I need to redesign the existing PCB/Hardware (or) can I just put the CC1352P74T0RGZR in place of CC1352P1F3RGZ without any design change? Please confirm.

Hi Rahul,

The pinout and packaging of the parts are identical, however there are changes in the passive components needed for the 2.4 GHz RF path between the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P1 and LP-CC1352P7-1 reference designs. You should be able to change the IC and the necessary passive components without redesigning the PCB.

Thanks for the details. Can you specify the LP kit design reference to find out the discrete changes ( RF Path) between the chipset?

I required 2.4GHz 20dBm network RF path discrete details for the cross-comparison. The one you have shared doesn't have those details.
