CC2652R7: update chip.syscfg via System Configurator

Hi,

Which SysConfig version are you using?

Which connectedhomeip commit id? It seems like it could be an older one, since recent ones should not reference 4.40.05.02_eng (this was one of the first eng SDK supporting Matter).

The TI SDK should be in the git submodule here: https://github.com/project-chip/connectedhomeip/tree/master/third_party/ti_simplelink_sdk
You should not need to download a separate SDK.

We are using SysConfig 1.11.0.225, as mentioned in the build process.

I've added the following line to chip.syscfg:

// @cliArgs --board /ti/boards/LP_CC2652R7

which results in "cannot specify --board without --product", so it's properly specifying the SDK that's causing an issue? 

On a side note, this is interesting:

By default on Linux both the TI SimpleLink SDK and Sysconfig are located in a ti folder in the user's home directory

Could only get this to work by adding the SDK to the ti directory. Also had to launch the SysConfig tool from the cc13xx directory in order for the text in the chip.syscfg file to get recognized (otherwise it constantly fails to recognize --product value for the sdk).

Assuming there is a simpler way to do this since there is no documentation that correlates to the steps that had to be taken to make the above change...

Thanks for the update, glad to hear you were able to add a UART using the SysConfig.

I typically always use the default .syscfg provided with the TI Matter example, so perhaps there could be some dependency between /ti/SysConfig tool and the /ti/SDK.

Note that I do not have an SDK installed in the ti/ directory, but use the github submodule ti_simplelink_sdk. So we at least know the default configuration works.

I'll need to look at this a bit more and get back to you, plan to provide an update within the week.

I have recently verified that:

• do not need to install the SDK directly (it is pulled in as a submodule)
• need to install SysConfig

I recommend trying out with this example in our TI Github: https://github.com/TexasInstruments/matter/tree/v1.0-ti-branch/examples/lock-app/cc13x2x7_26x2x7

And similar to this related discussion, you need to add extra lines to the .syscfg file since it is using commandline:
